Spring 2026

Spring has sprung! In Florida we are on a steady warm up with temperatures set to reach into the 90's this month. We can wish a fond farewell to our short cool winter and get ready for endless summer. Our Stargazing Tours will be booking into June, with a break set for the rainier summer months of July-Sept.

This was a historic month with Nasa finally able to launch the Artemis II mission to the moon. Our astronauts were able to see the far side of the moon up close with their own eyes for the first time since 1972! Exciting things happening in the world of astronomy.

As Jupiter slowly works its way to the East we are able to see it longer into the spring which is terrific news as we can enjoy its grand presence later into the year. We now have Venus up in the evening with its sultry shimmering yellow/white appearance.

We still have viewings of Orion and Auriga here for a couple weeks so don't miss your chance!.
